You will work with them to understand their goals and challenges, map these to what Dynamics 365 Finance can do, and design a custom solution that matches their needs. In most cases, you will work as a part of a team alongside technical consultants and developers.

The role of Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant is an ideal choice if you are coming from one of these two types of backgrounds.
You may have gathered experience in the Financial sector – be it as an accountant, a financial consultant or a financial exec – and be looking for a change of roles.
Or you may have implemented other ERP solutions focussed on financial processes as a functional consultant or business analyst, and be looking for a transition to the Microsoft space.
What Are Your Career Development Options?
After you have worked as a Finance Functional Consultant for some time, you can develop in these directions:
