Contract Dynamics Finance and Process Specialist

Responsibilities

This position is responsible for providing the best possible client services, including but not limited to

• Identify needed customizations, adjust Finance module parameters, and load related data

• Review current business processes including order-to-cash cycle, multi-currency, multi-
  country, and financial consolidations
  Recommend appropriate changes to business processes

• Assess relative costs and benefits of consolidating multiple business units in one company or multiple companies

• Review trade part master data and recommend action in situations where SKUs differ

• Assist with validating the data migration and the implementation of new business processes and systems

• Review handling of different currencies and mark-up strategies and recommend appropriate action

• Review taxation processes including EU VAT

• Review transfer orders between business units, synchronization of items, and foreign exchange

• Assess compliance including GAAP and GDPR

• Provide training to the Finance team as required

Essential Functions

• Accurately assess client requirements 
• Provide ongoing support/troubleshooting as needed 
• Provide consulting services with an emphasis on problem-solving 
• Seek direction regarding pending tasks 
• Prioritize and complete assignments independently 
• Ensure protection and security of client files and records 

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience with the Microsoft Dynamics NAVs Finance module
• Minimum 3 years experience in business process analysis
• Minimum 5 years experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV
• Minimum 5 years experience in logistics, warehouse, and distribution operations
• In-depth knowledge of Enterprise
• Resource Planning (ERP) applications
