What Jennifer says:

“You were A+, hands down. Your team was terrific.”

“I could feel that you all really wanted to help find the people that we’re looking for.”

“I found the consultant within a week of taking the subscription with you, it really was that quick.”

“Using 365 Talent Portal was the only way we would have found him.”

Why did you need the GP Consultant so urgently, Jennifer?

We won a large project and were already contracted with the customer, but with other projects being delivered, we realised we were simply shorter staffed at the time than we had thought.  Rather than risk delay in delivery of some of the projects, we decided to hire.

You decided to use 365 Talent Portal rather than someone else – why?

One of the reasons why I decided to go with 365 Talent Portal was the dedication and persistence you guys showed, especially you, Arun. When you approached me in November, I remembered that you had been in touch with me a few times, but I wasn’t so sure about you guys as I’d never dealt with you.  Yet this was an urgent GP requirement, and other avenues that we normally explore hadn’t worked out.  I’m aware that things are changing in the Dynamics space and that there is not much new talent entering the pool, so as growing the pool is something you guys focus on, I decided that it was time to give 365 Talent Portal a try.

Thanks. So you’d been struggling to find this resource before using us?

Yes, it had been a difficult one to fill this time around. I think I had been looking for a month and a half to two months before you contacted me. In the past, it may have taken some time, but we’d expect to have some good resumes that fit the role within a month and we would always find someone through the avenues we used, like social media, Craigslist (believe it or not, we have actually found people through there), Indeed, and other technology job sites.  But they didn’t work this time.

Do you think this is a blip, or a trend that’s getting stronger?

I have noticed that it’s getting harder and harder to find the people we need through traditional recruitment methods.  That’s potentially due to our location, but more I think because the available talent pool is not as large as it needs to be compared to the demand, particularly with Dynamics GP.  Then there was the job spec itself, because we needed a consultant who had a background in Manufacturing and Distribution, and that is an area rare in consultants I’ve come across before.

But you did find the consultant you needed?

I was delighted to find the right person by using your portal.  I had never come across him before, so it really worked out well.  In fact, in my opinion, using 365 Talent Portal was the only way we would have found him.

Delighted we could help.  How quickly did you find him?

I found the consultant within a week of taking the subscription with you, it really was that quick. That was great because it meant I could shift focus to finding the next consultant we wanted to take on, and you guys switched to help me with that one too as soon as I told you I was successful in hiring the first.

Was anyone else involved in the decision to use 365 Talent Portal?

No, once you explained to me what using the portal involves and what else your company would do to help me, I made the decision on my own to go for it – nothing else had worked so far and it was time to give you guys a try. Then when it came to the interviews, the owner and I both conducted a one-on-one with the consultant. I was interviewing to assess personality type, character traits, and fit for us, and William delved into the technical side of their experience.  We had a direct match, first time.

What do you think about our subscription-based recruitment model?

It’s a different approach but I decided it was a much better program for a company of our size.  I’ve used traditional recruitment agencies before and, to be honest, we never found anyone that was, quite frankly, any good, and the prices for using them are exorbitant.

How does our pricing model compare?

Before you got in touch with me in November, I had thought that the price was a little high based on some of the other things that we were trying, although I could clearly still see that it was so much more cost-effective than using recruitment agencies.

After using 365 Talent Portal, I changed my mind about the cost of the subscription and think it’s a good price for what you offer, especially because you and the team really got involved and I could feel that you all really wanted to help find the people that we’re looking for. That made it completely worthwhile.

How did we do as a company in assisting you?

You were A+, hands down. Your team was terrific.  Speaking about you specifically, Arun, I felt that you were so much more genuine than somebody in the same position from a recruitment agency. I could tell that you wanted to help and would be there if I had a question or needed assistance with the portal.  When you called me in November, you told me that the portal would work for us, and you delivered on that promise, so thank you for that. With the service, I received from your company, I would definitely take another subscription when I next look for people.

Now that your current subscription period has ended, how many people did you hire in total?

So, we hired the first consultant five days after taking the subscription in November 2016. We then hired two more people in January 2017 making three hires in total.

Well, that’s a great story and we’re delighted to have provide fantastic value for money, Jennifer, and thank you for all your kind words. We look forward to helping you in your next subscription.
